Perhaps the oldest fallacy in retail marketing is the most widely known and used: “You can have cheap prices with high quality products and great service.”

While this may be a relatively harmless claim when it’s taken with a large pinch of salt by experienced buyers, it can also mislead and confound the less retail savvy. However, this same claim is echoed by nearly every t-shirt printing company out there. How can you see through the marketing spiel to reveal the true item quality and service being sold by a t shirt screen printer?

Unlike some production processes, the arts of screen printing and direct digital garment printing both depend upon high quality materials (ink, printers, textiles, stitching and so on) and also skilled workers throughout the supply and production chain. So what should be your priorities when buying from a t shirt screen printer or any garment retail or custom printing company? Which promise would you be glad to ditch in the quest for low prices: Service, or quality?

The answer is neither; cutting corners will cost you in the long run. I suggest a pragmatic approach to this challenge; stop seeking the lowest prices. There are hundreds of t shirt printers and screen printers competing for that crown, and they are all likely to be cutting their service and product quality to stay in that race.

Instead, search for a T shirt printer who can offer you unrivalled service and excellent quality for a fair price; a price which should tell you that they will be doing their utmost to keep you as a valued customer and to always deliver top quality t shirt printing.
